Education

Educational History:

I graduated from the University of Arkansas in 2012 with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Eduction. I completed my ESL endorsement in 2016.  In 2018, I graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a Master’s degree in Library Media and Information Technology. I am currently in training to become an Academic Language Therapist.

Current Position:

I have taught in Decatur for the past ten years. I have taught 4th grade Literacy, K-4 Library Media, K-4 Dyslexia Intervention, and served as the K-12 Dyslexia Contact. 

Family Information:

I have been married to my husband, Raymond, for 15 years. We have three children, aged 9, 5, and 2. We live on a small hobby farm with dogs, chickens, guineas, and a horse.

A little background information about me:  

  • I grew up in Bentonville, Arkansas. I graduated from Bentonville High School in 2006.
  • I have been married for 15 years to my husband, Raymond. We have two daughters and a son. Naomi is 9 years old, Madelyn is 5, and Reuben is 2!
  • I currently live in Siloam Springs on 24 acres. We have cats, dogs, chickens, guineas, and a horse. 
  • This is my 11th year as a teacher!
